I see the problem now. Thank you for posting that photograph. I could nto get the landing gear to go that high up. it went about half way and stopped. That has been the problem all this time.
That is what I have been talking about, they seem to work fine behind other vehicles. I am going to have to try and get photographs, because mine is not hooking up that easily.
Yes, even folded it was too nose down. I am not sure if this is a newer or older one, but it seems to me like there are height differences. Our 250 is two wheel drive but I do not think that matters.
That is a neat hitch. I like how simpe it is.
We were going to try that, but after taking measurements it looked as though the landing gear leg will still drag.
I know what you mean, I tried that as well. Then I have no choice but to wait until my deuce is running and legal. That is not good becuase I need that trailer for something here at home.
I bought a 105 from a friend of mine a while back. My deuce is down so we tried to pick it up with our F250. When I backed up to it the hitch height was way too high to hook up. Now, I know the tongue dips quite a bit but this one would have dipped too far. I see photographs on this site of many...
I have a 105 to pull behind my deuce. I like that it has a side and a cover. However, I would like something a little longer. I wonder what it would take to get one of them like that. The only bad thing is it uses different tires and rims.
Stacked frames? I remember when guys did that 20 years ago on pick up trucks. I bet that deuce is beyond heavy. I poked around a bit but all I found was lifted bobbed deuces.
I see a lot of lifted bobbed deuces, but I am wondering if any one has lifted a complete six wheel drive deuce. If sooooooo, would you mind posting photographs and explaining how you did it?
Nice truck.
I notices some rust on my straps that bolt to the lower brackets. After blasting it away I have very little metal left to run a bolt through. It looks like I am going to have to weld some metal in now. I guess this is not going to be the quick turn around I hoped for.
