M109 Deuce multi fuel won't start

Last month, I moved my M109 multi fuel from the grain bins to the shop. It started right up, idled smooth, and ran fine to put it away. Last week, I got in it to move it, and it wouldn't fire. Not a bang. Thinking it was water in the fuel maybe, I drained off quite a bit of water (several...

    Failsafe Warning Controller

I'll have to check that out, then. Someplace there's a short to ground causing the fuse to pop. Where's the most likely place for the ABS to pop fuses?

    Failsafe Warning Controller

Thanks for your quick answer. That's why I like this site, quick and not much bs.

    Failsafe Warning Controller

On a related note, (maybe a new thread needed?), when I turned on my M923 this weekend, the failsafe buzzer and lights worked for a minute, then I heard a pop under the dash and all went quiet. Checked the fuse, it was blown, replaced it one time and it blew again. I'm guessing a short in the...

    MEP Starter Issue--Not lockout switch?-Help

The solenoid is a magnet type thing that, when voltage is applied to the left two terminals, it pulls the solenoid together providing voltage from the bottom of K3 to the top of K3. So when you hook a switch to the bottom and top of K3, you bypass the solenoid completely, and the voltage flows...

    MEP Starter Issue--Not lockout switch?-Help

Ok, correct me if I'm wrong. If you have voltage to the lower terminal of K3, and when pressing start, have voltage to BOTH smaller terminals on left side of K3, but no voltage to top terminal K3, the solenoid is bad. Simple as that, right? All the checking just makes sure you have voltage to...

    4 wd light

My light doesn't work either, and sometimes the fuse for the dash lights blows. Is it possible that the 4wd switch is in the same fuse circuit and the wire is pinched, then grounding out and blowing the fuse? Or is the 4wd switch light in a different fuse circuit?

    Fuel screw/droop balance?

I've had good luck adjusting the rod for the high end range and the droop screw for the low end torque and performance. I adjust the droop screw with the engine idleing until the engine "barks" at a throttle tap. At a rapid throttle increase, there is about 2 seconds of blacker smoke as the...

Replacement Starter for older Lube Trailer

I've got an older lube trailer with a Wisconsin 24v gasoline engine and the starter has gone out. I took it to an electric shop and they said the armature is bad and they can't find another. Anyone have an idea where I can get a replacement starter for my trailer?

    CUCV Instrument Cluster Repair

I've got a couple places in my circuit path that have shorted out, I've repaired them with the same kit that you use to fix those electric defrosters on windows, but it's happened again in a different place. Do you know where to get that replacement circuit pad? I've considered going to the...

Front tire blow out going 55 MPH on the freeway

I bet it was pretty warm that day. I've seen heat buildup on the large tires cause blowouts. It's most common on tires that show some weathercracking, but it's a potential problem on all tires once they get a certain age. I had a blowout this summer close to Grand Island NE and the local tire...

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

This is from this Spring, actually. We use the trucks on the farm, this one I picked up our seed corn from the Pioneer dealer in New Franklin, MO. That's somewhere around 6,000 lbs of seed right there. We also use it to pull anhydrous ammonia tanks to the farm. Usually, we'll pull two tanks...
