I also have similar "random" problems since switching to LED front/ rear... works fine with regular bulbs. (good grounds) I dont see how it could be a grounding problem when the only thing that changed was to LED's.. hmmm thinking maybe theres NOT ENOUGH resistance to activate/ function the...

Thanks for the info rusty, as far as my own car your are right about "other" than nissan fluid, my tranny is almost 30K as well.. i have found a couple others not much less $$$ $500 for 4 gals.

All I have now is stock type filters I bought in a "kit" form from C&C equipment
none of these have the micron rating on them..
(I run WMO mostly)
In response to your Q about Liftgates, I installed a 3500 lb. "fold under" type. It does work GREAT for my needs HOWEVER you would LOOSE your towing hardware... (I never tow anything) but load things all the time with a bad back.. heh.
you would also loose some departure angle when off roading.
in my case every 30K miles, not exactly lifetime grr ..don't even bother looking at other maint. you could buy many Deuces! lol
diff. fluid is 45 a quart.
