    Studebaker deuce

The M35 series was started in the early 50's, yours most likely started life as a regular M35, then as it was modified it became an M35a then an M35a2. The truck did NOT leave the factory as a Turbo Diesel in the 50's. It was converted as the technology evolved, very common practice of the US...

    Studebaker deuce

Well it depends on how many times it was retrofitted or rebuilt by the military. I have a 53 Studebaker deuce with winch , mine is a gas and was never converted to diesel , but many were. Is yours a regular deuce or is there something special about it ?

    Adding tach to older deuce

Find out how much, probably multi fuel dash's though, not gassers. I'm thinking I might go for the add on tach, not origional to the truck but nice to know whats going on with the old girl rpm wise.

All better now So I got the spare on the deuce today finally and took it out for some "field manuvers" ..the tire, although cracked seems to handle it , so far so good. I made deal with my bodyshop guy to let him use the truck to use the winch, he is putting a new heavier winch cable on it...

    Carguy455 with a Tank as a kid

My mom found these pics of me with a tank when I was a child in the 70's at the University of Maine in Orono. They had the tank there for homecomming I think. Given the anti war climate of the times back then I am surprised they had a tank on campus. If I remember correctly someone made a stink...

Tach-y Ya I had that same idea too , but not like you can run out and find a tach for them, if using a gas engine isnt the RPM range on a Multi Fuel tach going to read wrong ? Where can I get a tach drive for a gas engine ? Or a tach for that matter ? Anyone out there got photos of an add on...

    Carguy455's 53 DEUCE

Which ? Getting stuck or finding something you care about with a derogatory term written on it like "Disposal " ?..lol I FINALLY removed the "tree" that was grown into the truck too, about time I actually cleaned the back of it out ! Spare holds air but has HUGE cracks in it, think its going on...
