I have a gun mount on my USMC M-135. Process of a frame up restor. I'ver removes the ring and mounting tubes. I have a question. On the forward side of the ring , there is a bracket that is bolted to the tube bracket, what is this bracket for? Have attached two photos - any ideas

Joe, The ring on the pin is a petcock (bleed valve), originally on the M-135 there is a turn type petcock on the tank, lower part, for bleeding the accumulated water. This valve can be replaced with a ring & cable petcock ( call cable drains) so you don't have to crawl under the truck to bleed...

The right air tank has a brass T fitting on top which is screwed into the tank with a 3/8"pipe thread and the other two threads are treaded for compression fittings, one is 1/2" and the other is 3/8". Does anyone know where I can buy this fitting?
