Thank you CUCVRUS from me as well I'm still new to my Cucv and you've already helped a lot. I value all help and suggestions I get but yours always seem the best.
Can't say I painted the truck, it was like that when I bought it and apparently he didn't do a good job on the prep work because it is starting to chip and let some of the forestry red shine through, it will be fixed this summer then I can say I did that.
Did you figure out what the problem was. My gen 1 light didn't come on this morning and my volt gauge barely got in the green, it usually gets all the way up.
I wasn't referring to the trail ride I don't think I'll be able to make it in time for that any way. I was talking about if I buy a trail pass and go out on some of the other trails. I did read the rest of this thread before posting my questions.
Thank you for the information looking forward to it. And how are the trails for a beginner I've only taken my truck on some old fire roads so far but I did buy the truck to get into off roading.
This will be my first event like this other than car shows. So I had a couple quick questions, if I drive my m1028 I'll be free but my wife will be 10$? And can you drive to the primitive camping or is it pack in? And is Fri and sat the best two days to come?
Hi every one, just got my first m1028. The truck seems in great condition and is quickly becoming my favorite vehicle i have ever owned, especially after yesterdays snow. This is now my daily driver so if any one has any advice or mods i should do please let me know because i know very little...
Thank y'all for all of the help I ended up taking out one of the blackout lights and using its mounting hole then drilled another. I found some bolts with led lights in the head and tapped into the brown wire ,it doesn't look to bad and now they have no excuse to pull me over.
Went to autozone and fond these http://www.autozone.com/gaskets-and-miscellaneous-fasteners/fastener/pilot-automotive-2-pcs-led-license-plate-fastener/124701_0_0/ should work good and only 2 holes in my bumper. But is my tail lights 12v or 24v and is that the best place to tap into.
