N1265
:ditto: N1265. It is scary to think what can happen in this country! On another note, That is a good looking HV!! I was just thinking how much it cost us as citizens to rebuild or restore these MV's as compaired to the cost WE pay for the Govt. to Rebuild the same vehicles!!?? :cookoo:

Thats the way I bid, Blood of Tyrants! It is much easier to follow the auction. Plus U can tell if U R bidding against the same IND>, or someone new is bidding.
RE: Re: How do you investigate this???
From past experience, like today, I had a bid in at 455, and someone else bid after me. It brought the closing time to 5:10??? I the bid again at 5:05, and the closing time was moved up another 15 minutes. I did get 5 new item today. I don't like this...

I was taught the main reason for Cross Chains is to keep the Lost Vehicle,{ whether it's a Trl, or a Towed vehicle with Tow bar, or Wrecker,} in behind the Tow vehicle. Cross Chains will pull towed vehicle into Center of other vehicle and prevent it fomm Straying to the sides. It is also the Law...
Back in the 70's at MCB Quantico. I remember a MV that was painted with a color code from Chrysler Corp, and it was as close to Marine Corps Green as anything else I have seen. If U want gloss, go to a Paint Dept at a local Parts store . U can even have Metalic added to paint for looks!
RE: Re: RE: Diamond T 981
Rmgill, I never changed a tranny that way before!! Sounds like a Plan!!LOL!!I have changed trannies by lifting back of vehicle up with my Excavator until the front bumper touches the ground. U physically pull tranny out and it SSSLLIDES right in when replacing !!!! No...
