What did you do to your deuce this week?

I know...I was pretty lucky to find it. And that packing list.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yeah I got one of the original wooden bow & staves with canvas cover and end curtains. Got it off eBay for a great price. Crate it came in still had the packing list from 1971! Oh that stench of oiled canvas when I popped it open! With El Niño coming I need to get that wood indoors!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Anyone ever made their own out of some thin steel tube or channel? My local steel supplier will bend anything I order from them for $10 each bend. It probably wouldn't be the exact size to perfectly fit a corner but you might find something close and it would last forever as long as you painted...

    Winch Teardown Q

To clarify, I got this winch from CL. It appeared in great shape but had some leaks so I replaced all the seals and gave it a good cleaning. I never checked how well it shifted in/out (mea culpa). When putting it all back together, it shifted and locked in/out but could not get it to align with...

    Winch Teardown Q

Reviving an old thread here but it proved its weight in gold with a problem I had with the shifter not aligning with the in/out detents. After researching here on this post and he attached posts, my shaft was also twisted. I calculated my clutch shaft to be 163 degrees from keyway to keyway as...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

And it had to be the inner tires...bust off two sets of lugs instead of driving up on a block of wood and just doing the outer. Bummer.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Should just delete the wipers along with the flame heater...I live in CA. But the minute I do, here comes the monsoon!

What did you do to your deuce this week?

They are the original vacuum ones. That blade should have been replaced when I did the glass. The metal part was a little rusted and sort of loose. I agree with you it is a pretty cheesy design.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

It isn't bad, barely etched and barely noticeable. I shut the valve before it made 2 complete strokes. Jewelers rouge is supposed to take it off. I heard cam polish works too. We'll see.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Speaking of wipers, it actually rained in CA enough to turn mine on today, and one of the darn blades flew off at about 55 mph and slightly scratched my new windshield. Guess I'll need to add that to the never ending list...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Rivet buster...aka air impact hammer does the trick for those stubborn ones.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Big Mikes has those clips. Or that one auction site. I just replaced all of mine with the glass too. It's great to have nice new clear glass without years of grime and overspray all over it.

    Thank you sir!

    Trailer numbering

Ok well that makes it easy. You're talking about the bumper numbering, not the hood numbering correct?
