When you get a set of plastic bushings for the doors at napa, They are the same if it says ford on the package. It will still fit GM but may have to file the ends down as they were made to fit lots of differant models. My have to drive them on with a deepwell socket also.

I watch the volt meter. Even though the wait to start light will go off, the glow plugs will still stay on for a while, around 8 seconds. When the volt meter neddle goes up, hold the accelerator half or all the way down depending on the temp and them try to start.

I installed a 2inch issopro tach right next to the volt meter on mt m1009. Ordered the tach with a inductive pickup that you bolt to the oil pan and then you glue 2 magnets 180 degrees apart on the harmonic dampener. Seams to work good and accurate too. I went to Menards and bought some felt in the weatherstrip section, cleaned up the old channel and glued it in place. Works great and lot cheaper than buying through LMC.
