Looks very well thought out.
Wilson OK, Small world my Dad is from there, my mom grew up in Dillard. His parents still live there, I come down every christmas maybe I'll run into you and your rig one year
I got on Uship.com listed my shipment and recieved about 10 bids on it. You can read all the shippers feedback from other people they have hauled for.
The average for me seems to be right at 1000.00 for a 560 mile haul, for a deuce on a step deck
Search, it has been covered in depth many times before. You will finds loads of info on changing the filters
I wasn't going to say it, but if I didn't somebody would
Congratualtions on the win. I'm waiting my EUC for mine, I wish I only had to go to fort sill to get mine. I'm by far no deuce expert, but if you need any help on the recovery let me know
Not to HiJack the thread from the O.P.
I'm in the same situation, trying to sort insurance while I wait on the EUC. How would a person get the Vin # from GL? Whether it's accurate or not I need something to give the insurance agency
I would imagine it hard to find a flatbed to rent that is capable of carrying the weight of a deuce. Also do you have a truck and a hitch capable of safely pulling and more importantly stopping that much weight.
Same here.
Atleast seeing the members who sent their first EUC in around the end of july getting approved in the last few days. it appears GL taking about a month right now. I guess that gives us atleast some sort of a time frame to guess on.
If you don't mind me asking how much did you end up winning your truck for? I'm from shawnee,Oklahoma so I was watching some of them at fort sill. I didn't get to send the end of the auction so I don't know what they went for and I'm kinda curious to know.
For the EUC I won a deuce at camp...
Clamp a pair of vice grips on the key, as tight as you can get them, use the air hammer to knock up on them. The vice grips will most likely come off, but the key is usually shaken loose and can them be pulled and pryed out.
I had to use this method on my go karts keyed axle shaft as a kid...
The part that bugs me the most is that one of the first things you do after the auction is pay for your lot. That is understandable to me however once I pay for something, I expect the company to deliver. I can understand the hold up at battle creek. What gets me is at 45 if not approved or...
They have the monopoly on buying it the surplus route. I know I can buy them from a private seller for 3-4X the price.
I emailed mine and followed up on live chat hours later. My hold up is at battle creek. Thursday it will have been there 3 weeks.
Mine was submitted on 8/12/09 sent back for revisions the sameday. 8/13/09 resubmitted with corrections. 8/13/09 "sent to Battle Creek". Still there today.
I asummed the 45 days only counted bussiness days. I don't like the way Gl does that. As the buyer you have uphled you part and paid for...
My daily driver is a large cam(244/252 111LSA) 6.0 litre GTO running longtubes 3in X pipe and electric dumps. I'd say the dumps are open 80% of the time.
In either case if it's a C, I own ear plugs. Or I'll trade someone for a D turbo. But I also don't forsee taking it on many long trips, so...
Did you vote??
Remember guys there's no seriousnesss to this. I thought it might be interesting to see, how well everybody could guess given the low quality and bad angle of the picture. Once I get the truck we'll know if the forum guessed correct or not. I'll send $5 to each person who...
