Ok! So I just picked up my m923a2 last Monday and just turned the fuel up today and I can't believe the results!!! I have to tell ya I'm a big 5.9 12 valve cummins guy and this just tops it all! There's no replacement for displacement! Unless you have an 855 cummins, then you just have a boat...
I also was thinking of this. Soon I am hoping to get a 923 with the 8.3 and i would love to put a 5 speed out of an older 5 ton in it. Is this possible with the current bellhousing or is there something else needed for this? I cant stand automatics and stay away from then whenever possible!
I can't tell you all how much fun me and my dad had meeting all of you and seeing everyone's trucks! Such a great group of people! Can't wait for next year! Thanks to everyone for putting on such a great event!
Got the truck home safe with no problems! Never made a noise all the way home!? Not...
Thank for all the info guys! It sounds like these trucks are perfect for what I want to use em for! I just need a way to move some of the spoils and top dirt from the top of my sand pit to down on the bottom for reclamation. Now just to find 3 trucks! Thanks again for all the info!!!
Agreed! The bottom end is good for 1000hp! The guys running in the badger state super street diesel class have been doing it for years! Indisructable if you can keep em cool IMO!!!
How strong are the hoists on these trucks? We would like to get 2-3 trucks for our sand pit operation but would need to put tall side bords on em so we could actually get something done. Anyone have experience with how much they will lift?
Wow! Sounds like a blast! My place is close enough that we could convoy to my place where I could make an off road corse for us to play on! I have 3 sand and gravel pits and some wet fields we couldn't plant this spring! I play with my deuce every weekend out here! Just throwing it out there...
Just last weekend I took my deuce to the mud fest in Rio! Was a blast and got a bit dirty. Great place to take MV's even if not in the mud. I should post some pics/vids!!!
haspin is kind of a hike... would love to go but hard to find time. I would be game for something in Wisconsin just don't know where? I don't think our 300ac farm would be big enough? lol
not sure about the split diff issue,... but it would be best if you could get your hands on a compressor that bolts to the front cover under the IP were the vac pump/power steering pump is normally located. i know they make em and would be nicer than a belt driven setup in my opinion. I'm sure...
I'm thinking ill be bringing my m35 and my dad will come with one of his 900 series trucks! I was unaware of the military show in Iola. I have friends that go to the Iola car show every year but no one has ever said anything about it to us! Just found out about it in Jan. LOL Just waiting on my...
I don't believe i have the exact same setup on my truck. My cover looks to have more "stuff" on top of it. Does this mean i can make my adjustments externally on the threaded stud with the jam nuts? I had the cover off today an that seemed to be what it looked like. Just lookin for info! Thanks...
I have the complete engine and trans out of my truck if you are at all interested? It ran great! Probably have just a manifold off of a parts motor also...?
If its a getrag then its probably a np205. Big ol cast iron girl! Good stuff! If it were a nv4500 on a np205 then i'd be lookin into shipping already! Its what i need for my 81 chevy/cummins project.
Does anybody know how strong the t-case is on the m135/211's? I've heard that the guys with...
