who says a Bobbed m35 has a load capacity over 1 ton ? This truck has been altered from its orginal design and therefore the capacity from the manufacturer no longer applies. If you bobbed the truck yourself then simply tell them that with the new configuration the truck is now rated at 3/4...

There is not a lot that can go wrong with the sending unit, if it is working I would leave it alone, my truck still has the orginal sending unit , ( but I did replace the float )

I took your advice, I could of had one made out of the " heaver pipe " for $120. I don't think he said it was Galvanized pipe, but maybe Alluminazied ? something to that effect. I also found a local shop who could still get the pipe in from their warehouse for $105.00 +Tax. their truck...
