    M880 plow truck

My driveway is about 3 truck lengths long and 2 truck lengths wide at the widest part, there is also a short ( about 300ft. ) one way street that my driveway comes out on. The one way street is very low on the city's priority list, they usually get to it about the 2nd day after a big snow...

    M880 plow truck

That's good advice, And I all ready have given this some thought. The box is wired with a pig tail that disconnects, when not plowing I simply unplug it and throw it under the seat.... If I have a problem of it moving while plowing I plan on wire tieing it threw the mounting holes and the...

    M880 plow truck

Well, after spending all summer getting the right era plow parts the project is finally completed. I decided to go with a Meyers set up because it was the original equipment on the Sno- Commanders from Dodge in the '70. Complete plows from this era are hard to find in good shape at a decent...

M880 body on newer Dodge truck frame

When I was asking about plow mounts a while back I was told that the Dodge frames from 1973 ? to 1991 ? were the same, But I can not confirm it.....

Kicked out of my own driveway!

who says a Bobbed m35 has a load capacity over 1 ton ? This truck has been altered from its orginal design and therefore the capacity from the manufacturer no longer applies. If you bobbed the truck yourself then simply tell them that with the new configuration the truck is now rated at 3/4...

There is not a lot that can go wrong with the sending unit, if it is working I would leave it alone, my truck still has the orginal sending unit , ( but I did replace the float )

    question about m880

Here is a link to the tec. manual that is on the old SS site, It will tell you more than you need to know about these trucks. I suggest skipping the first few pages and simply start with chapter one...

    American Flag

All you would have to do is put a flag on your truck, take a picture of it and use it as your avatar like some have already done.... I wonder what a Mod would do if someone put a picture of the U.S. flag flying upside down under the Mexican Flag from the back of their M35a2 and used it for...

Proper Display of the US Flag on my Deuce for Parades?

First of let me say that this post is not meant to " throw rocks " at anybody, So Please don't take it that way..... I have noticed that this topic comes up a couple of times a year, Why is this ? Is it because the code is so loosely written that some are confused as to the intent ? (...

Proper Display of the US Flag on my Deuce for Parades?

Therefore it would be ok to fly a 3x5 American flag off the back of your truck just as long as you have another American flag ( of any size ) on the front right fender ?

    Saturn Surplus...

I took your advice, I could of had one made out of the " heaver pipe " for $120. I don't think he said it was Galvanized pipe, but maybe Alluminazied ? something to that effect. I also found a local shop who could still get the pipe in from their warehouse for $105.00 +Tax. their truck...

5.5 turn on these screws is not normal, with gunk in the fuel filter bob is right in thinking that the carb ( and probable the entire fuel system needs cleaned ) maybe this truck was vandalised with the "sugar in the gas tank trick " at some point in its life and may be your problem. Also...

    Political Messages on your MV

I see it like this, The Supreme court has said it is ok to burn the American flag as freedom of speech, the police are even obligated to protect war protesters in the vicinity of military funerals who deliberately throw the flag on the ground and walk on it , And nothing pis*** me off more...

1200 rpm is way to high, the idle screws only effect the idle, at 1200 rpm you are bypassing the idle adjustments all together... if you are sure you do not have a vacume leak try this, with the engine warm... 1) set both idle screws ( the two in front of the carb ) 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 turns...

    I'm Back! (new pics)

The brown is Field Drab, the light color is sand ( which can be altered to match the " dirt " of the area where the truck is being used ) This is why the " Dirt " color on my M880 looks a little darker than the sand on McGuyvers truck.... Here is a link that will help you out when doing...

also, I told you wrong in my previous post, if you plug the vacuum line back in ( where it goes on the passenger side port ) it might not raise the RPM at idle, but you can check to see if the advance is working by applying vacuum to the hose with an alternative source . If you don't have a...
