Is my bed worth anything ?

Is my bed worth anything? Depends on who you have in it...

    spring question

Wolf, you mean mount an axle & drawbar directly to the body, eliminating the original frame? Hmmm... I wonder what the load capacity of the body would be in that situation? I hadn't thought of that, but I bet it would be fine. Assuming I can fix the rusty spots on my bed. ;) Thanks, Brian

    spring question

I've seen trailer springs mentioned in a couple other threads, and I have a further question. These trailers (like my M101A1) are pretty ruggedly built. The 3/4 ton trailer can easily manage over a ton, particularly on-road (it's actually rated for a ton on-road, IIRC), and they are pretty...

lost an old thread, trailer pics

I've just spent an hour searching for an old thread that showed radial street tires on a trailer, M101 I think, on the Budd rums. I know it was there. Could it have been lost when the change was made to the new format? I really, really exhausted the search function using what I remember of it...

    M101 Rebuild pix

Resurrecting an old thread, as I consider things I should do to my trailer... Carter, did you make that rear landing leg yourself, or where did you get it? Also, did you add something to the front of the box, where the two bolts that hold the box down or release it for dumping position? I'm...

I love this rig, the trailer in particular. Tent and hard shelter, that's cool.

    help removing body from frame

M101A1 trailer, looking to take the body off. If I'm looking at this correctly, I loosen the nuts, and slide them over to the wide opening to remove. But they don't seem to be working that way. Am I mistaken? Any suggestions? By the way, I'd also like to add a rear fold-down support leg to my...

What do you do with an M332?

Okay, now that's cool, and useful. Since I don't have any big trucks (like a deuce), I can't consider anything bigger than the M101 series trailers.

What do you do with an M332?

I see these ammo trailers come up for auction now & then. I would never want one, they're so heavy. But I wonder, what would a person do in the civiian world with one of these trailers?

    Ok, New site...

Actually, I hate the new color scheme. I don't mind the new forum format, and I think the reputation, reporting, and other posting enhancements are good. But the color scheme stinks. It's not easy to read or look at.

    hub replacement on M101A1?

Has anybody modded an older M101 trailer with a newer hub? I was thinking about putting on a hub, maybe from a civvy pickup truck or something like that. Will that work with the existing axle? What kind of fab work would that take? TIA
