I ended up cutting two holes in the doors and mounting the back speakers in a box and mounting the box to the rear wheel well. Haven't wired them up yet so don't know how it will sound.
Those pictures are exactly where i was thinking about putting my speaker. Are the ones in the door waterproof? Mine aren't and I'm worried about them getting wet does that ever happen?
The ammo cans idea sounds really cool. I have boxes for my rear speakers already so i want to use those. How did they sound though with all the noise of the diesel and tires.
Who has installed speakers in there M1009, I have two front and two rear speakers I want to instal in my M1009. Just wondering where the best spot would be to put these speakers. I wanted to plasma cut a hole in each door for the front two speakers. What do you think? I have boxes for the rear...
Thanks and they are 35" Yokohama Geolanders M/Ts and a six inch tough country lift. They are the only tires I've had but they have been great in rain and mud couldn't tell you how loud they are cause the diesel.
Thanks and ya defiantly looks better with some mud on it just looking at getting a star painted on the doors and putting some of the stock decals on it make it look a little more offical
