    Mep80Xa injector pump leak

There are at least 2 different manufacturers that make these metering pumps with similar but slightly different designs. Do both of yours have the same part # stamped on them? I can't quite tell from the pictures.

MEP-806B running rough/ Actuator LED pulsing

Are the batteries fully charged? I don't have anything larger than an 803 personally, but I've read where low batteries that can cause problems with the electronics in the 805B/806B.

    Fuel Issues

My preferred fitting is the Ace Roto-Mold 10897, which is a 1/4" brass bulkhead fitting with a groove and a viton o-ring. I've got them from tank-depot.com in the past, but they're occasionally available on Amazon, too. Never had a tank leak since I started using these.

    MEP-803a 60 amp connection?

I went with 50 amp plugs & receptacles for price and availability. I used the money saved from pin & sleeve to get heavier wire where it would fit: 4 gauge instead of 6 gauge, Type-W instead of SOOW. It's not perfect, but it gives me some piece of mind.

    Fuel Filter/Water Separator Mods?

I think the filter base is very similar to the Donaldson P560382. The main difference I see is the location of the bleeder screw. I put one of them on a custom trailer because it used the same filters as my 803. You can probably find them cheaper if you shop around...

That looks like half of a battery terminal cover.

    Mep 803 a fuel injector problem ?

Alex, I had a stuck metering pump a while back. Here are some pictures from when I had it apart to clean it. See post #21. It wasn't the same problem you're having, but might be helpful if you end up cleaning your metering pump.

    803A Not Running Steady

Here are a few more questions that might help us diagnose what's happening: Is there any junk in the fuel tank that could be blocking / restricting fuel flow into the pickup tube? What color is the exhaust smoke when it bogs down? (White, blue, black, clear...) Are both batteries well...

    Aux Fuel Tank

Do you have an easy way to fill that aux tank? Might not be any fun lifting fuel cans up that high.

802A has lower than normal voltage, how can I correct this?

@ECS - I think this was the best possible outcome. No parts or repairs required leaves more time and money for other stuff.

802A has lower than normal voltage, how can I correct this?

What's the position of this switch (S6)? To configure the voltage meter (M1) to measure 240 volts single phase, you'll want it on the position identified by the purple spot on the red arc in this picture.

MEP 802A - Roof structure with a baffle...anyone done this already?

I think a lot of the noise on my 802 was coming from the 4 lifting rings in the corners of the skid. I added a small piece of bubble wrap around them to quiet them down. I've also read about folks removing the little locking pieces that hold the doors open, since they tend to rattle too...

MEP-804B - New to me, I have a few questions

How many of the outback power inverters do you have? If you have 3, you could hook 1 to each pair of phases L1+L2, L2+L3, L3+L1 and should be well balanced. If you have 2, you could spread the load across all 3 phases (L1+L2, L2+L3), but not as evenly. Never underestimate the value of hero...

    MEP-806A antifreeze?

Personally, I would go to the local John Deere dealership and buy some "Cool-Gard II", which is their brand of heavy duty coolant. It's what JD would put in that engine when it's in their tractors.

    803A Hard to start

Curious... What kind of junk was in the hard line? Was someone in the past running it with bad/missing filters, or did the hardline corrode itself shut?
