I drive mine at about 65-70 with no problems, did do about 87 and scared the s*** outta me, loose steering and unbalanced wheels.....

not sure about the wires,first make sure the glow plugs are exactly the same like the thread length and threads. go to a hardware store and get a tap that is the same thread as the glow plug. Use it to clean the threads out in the head, try your best to keep the metal out of the combustion...

check the battery gauge, and make sure it isn't in the red, then check for loose wires on the batteries

My fuse block is melted for the main fuse powering the lights... Check the fuse block and clean the connections
