That's true... So best bet is to...what? Put it up on stands and pull the wheels out, change bearings, inspect everything real nicely... Should I venture in to the top loader and see is any damage was caused there? ---James

They are...missing. The pin like bounces itself out of the slot gradually, especially off road. Is not having that ball bearing and spring affecting anything else? Aside from sliding a bolt and a nut in there to prevent total linkage failure, is there another temporary fix that anyone has...

Sorry to kind of resurrect an older thread, but I am having a similar problem with mine. The "pin" that holds the linkage together is the exact length of the pieces it goes through i.e. there is no length of the pin sticking out...as a result, I cannot secure it in place and it continuously...

I was going to have the same problem. The first deuce I wanted to buy had no title or anyhting I could use to title it in my name (short of a bill of sale upon purchase). Some of the guys on here advised me to run from that deal and look for one with a title because that would save me a lot...

It does not have the chalk markings from GL on the bumpers. I honestly do not know the story behind the truck i.e. where he got it or anything like that....all I know is that he does not have a title. I am going to make a few phone calls tomorrow to my friends in NY to see if they are willing...
