Yes same here, I should've bought a few more last month when the prices were down. Some nice deals, with a little love. Mine I bought was missing some things, but I have everything already from a buddy who has 6 of these HMMWV's. WINNING!
I bid on some more HMMWV's today, man the prices are even higher than they were a few weeks ago. Like $3,000+
PLUS their 10-15% fees, taxes, transport fees, and parts it needs. This ad's up really quickly.
I GUESS this is ok news? Or am I dreaming and still have to WAIT 3-6 months MORE for my M1123 to be cleared for pickup? From GP: Submitted to TSC (what's TSC again?), pending approval (9-13-2021).
Yeah, I can see this happening. I mean, really, does it take 4-6 months for them to say "He's ok, release it". At least they have $10k of my money in their bank account waiting and waiting.
They are not giving me the choice to not get the SF97, I have to get it because the year isn't listed. BUT they did say I can get the title once I get the SF97 form 60-90 days later and add another $100.00
Well, because of the year missing on their end (it's a 1998 from VIN#), they won't issue a title first. I have to get the SF97 form first, then once that goes through, they will give a title. Still $150.00 for both.
Thats what I was thinking.. Title is better in my mind. Like if I sell a vehicle with out a title (bill of sale, like SF97) it be harder to sell. Title, easier to sell.
warthog, hey at least we can draw stick figures well [thumbzup]! I'll take that connector off, put it on the post where it should be (according to your awesome drawing), and fix the cluster bulb. I think I was there figuring it out, but needed to make sure I was on the right path and not...
I totally agree, I will remove the cluster and "rebuild" it with new bulbs, clean all the connections, polish the face and put everything back together. I'm one of those type of people that does it RIGHT the 1st time and make sure it works. Cutting corners is not in my blood... Again, thanks...
I'll check it out later today, I also noticed on another post you replyed to that the about the " Isolated Ground" is a issue and I seen that picture you had of the drivers side alt had the ground hooked up to the post, I think mine is hooked to the back NON post of the ALT
So, I have a 86 M1008 ALL stock w/24v system, two new Interstate batteries (use these on all my CUCV's). When I got the new batteries it would start very easily. But now after a few months and I have maybe put 20 miles on it since then, the gauge is in the Red (with lights on) / Yellow (goes up...
