I've got a question for you guys. Right after I start up my M1028 I hear a slight "click", a small squealing noise, and the voltage gage needle drops down a little. At night the headlights dim a bit. Then after a few seconds the squealing stops, the needle climbs up and the lights brighten...

My M1028 has a 6" broken circle with a 4 inside of it painted on the passenger side door. I'm not sure, but I think the truck came from the Indiana National Guard.

Just got my 1028 yesterday, and it's a ton of fun. The questions I have are the 4 wheel drive light doesn't come on when 4wd is engaged. I know the 4wd works because the boys at my shop tested it when it was on a lift. If its just a burnt out bulb whats the part# and how do you go about...

Here's a question for you guys. I have a chance to buy a pretty decent M1028. The only thing I don't like about the truck is that the front fenders are rusted through. He has a M1009 on site that he is parting out. Will the fenders from the 09 fit the 28? Any other thoughts on fender...

I want to buy a M1008 and the GL site in Sparta Wi has some. How is GL to deal with when buying a truck from them? I know that it takes a long time to get an EUC to go through. Anybody have any other issues? If any member lives close to Sparta and would be willing to look these trucks over...
