I am happy with Brian Harrison.I do have a remote power unit for my rear unit.It also came with jack,tools and a full pallet of new parts that I saw listed on ebay $2k,it has a lot of replacement parts in the kit.Just not a transfer case.It does have a new transfer case cover in the box.

Artisan,My mk48 has a nsn 2320 01 177 5167 for the front power unit.

Brian Harrison of Harrison trucks has been very cooperative in this matter.I am anxious to get her going.I ran the hook on the truck today it worked flawlessly.

I got the truck up to my shop today.The dealer is buying another transfer case and is going to pay the labor bill.

I will check things out in the morning.Its dark now.

It seemed to drive fine,it made some loud noises when you turned the steering wheel,Loud noises.It doesnt make any difference if its in low range or direct.It just grinds.You can see the input shaft turn when you put it in gear,but it does nothing but make loud gringing noises.

I need to get the nsn # for sure,I found a couple but the part #s are different.I wish I new if the mk48 and Hemtt share the same transfer case.

Thanks,The one on ebay doesnt look like the one in my truck.

I talked to Driller last week,He wanted more for his mk48 than the $30k I paid.Does the hemtt and the mk48 use the same transfer case.

I have to make a decision by tommorow morning.Send the truck back and get my money back or take a chance and maybe have to replace the transfer case.

My mk48 arrived today,after the trucker unloaded it.I drove it about a quarter mile to my driveway,about 200 feet up my driveway it jumped out of rear.I drifted back down the hill and checked all the switches and transfer case lever.It made a loud grinding noise when put in forward gear,it...
