Im looking for chains that will fit my Tatra it has 15x21 tires, I was thinking if I got some chains for a 16x20 us tire I could adapt it to fit. how wide is a 16x20 tire? does anyone know where surplus or new tires chains are available. Thanks

I prefer the quad cabs of the 813 and 815 and the new 816 although they also come in single cabs also. The 815 and 816 models seem to be mainly single cabs now for some reason. The one pic has the new cab on the 8x8 so I guess that is the new thing ,looks good but I think it has less character...

Thats the first place I have found that actually had a Maz for sale I will have to find out how much, I have always wanted a Maz. If it wasn't for the dollar loosing its value so much I may be able to afford one.

I havnt found any real useful technical info on the web for this era of the truck. I ended up having to buy manuals, which luckily are packed with lots of info.

I think if you spend time looking at youtube you will see the Tatras in all kinds of extreme terrain and they perform very well, they are the truck of choice for there class of trucks. I think you will appreciate them more than just a big truck if you watch enough of them. I know you are...
