MEP-003 utility outlet has no power....

I'll defer this to member with more knowledge... My starter would keep turning over and not disengauge, I pulled the breaker & it still cranked... Had to pull the cable off the battery to stop it. I got one of the starters listed. I can say it has a lot more cranking power and it starts...

    Ground wires on MEP-003

My interlock on the house panel does not have a switched ground. I understand the ground wire that goes from the house panel goes to the grounding lug on the generator. Do I need to disconnect the L0 wire to the grounding lug? Also, my generator is bolted to a pad with 4- 24" "footer bolts"...

    Finally on the pad... MEP-003A

I was short 8' of 1 1/2" conduit, so it will be this week before it's completely stubbed out. I bought the whole panel from Lowes and it had the interlock and 60A breaker already installed, 24 slots with built in meter face for $179.

It was trailer mounted originally, so it has a 2' oil drain hose on it. It has a vent on the back made of mesh. She'll can start it and can wrench it too! She was an AGE mechanic in the AF for 8 years... Now only 2 weeks and she retires after 25 years.

    Finally on the pad... MEP-003A

I have 90 elbows on the exhaust with 2" nipples pointing away from the wall. I'm waiting for the 1 1/2" flex to come in from Auto Zone. I had it running and it was not noticable in the house. Where it's located is by the guest bedroom, and you could hear a faint thumping in my daughter bedroom.

    Finally on the pad... MEP-003A

The rental company screwed me out of the Bobcat I had reserved! So off to Lowes for a 10' piece of 4" conduit, my golf cart and floor jack got it alligned. After about 20 minutes it alligned up except for 1 hole 1/4" off, elongated it a litted and it was on... The wife wanted it covered, so off...

    Pad mount MEP-003

Not up here. County's only reg is if there is a ATS and unit must be 5' away from window and exhaust 3' from combustable wall. When I asked what defined "combustible wall" as I have brick exterior, inspector said brick is not combustible...

    Pad mount MEP-003

I found 4x4x1 rubber mounts with 5/8" holes already in them for $3.50. They are 60psi pads, 960# per pad should be good for the MEP.

Last picture in the 2 post I think is the Naperville IL site. It's now a city park with a plaque and the radar platform still there. I lived near there for many years and also the site in Libertyville IL. Both site are parks and still have some of the old equipment part of the park. There...

    Pad mount MEP-003

Has anyone pad mounted their MEP? I'm getting ready to pour a 3'6"x6' pad and have 16" x 5/8" "footer bolts" add in to keep it on the pad. The pad will be ~5" thick with mesh in it. Do you think it will work? Thanks-

    MEP-002 frequency question

What is all over the map? Mine will diviate .2-.8 on the digital hz. this is with no load or a small load. With it loaded up with the whole house it is about .2hz flux, except when the 5 ton A/C kicks in.

    MEP 002A not starting

Check the cut off lever on the IP to make sure it moves freely. I had the same issue as you and mine had a broken rod end and it took me 2 day to figure it out.

    MEP002 Governor adjustment

Are you using a digital gauge or the needle guage on the panel? Mine does the same thing with panel gauge about 4-5 drop, I installed a digital guage and the drop is only 2 on it. When I start a 5 ton AC unit it drops about 4 then kicks back up. I run mine with no load at 62hz, with a load it...

MEP 002 -- throttle linkage issues

Here's a picture of it installed. My wife reminded me that I used an Allen head screw to attach to the lever, 6-32 is the right head size to fit in the joint, and not slip out, .35 at Ace. I was trying to find a heim joint, but Granger & McMaster wanted too much for shipping.

TELEFLEX Ball Joint Kits at West Marine If I remember correctly it's 10-32 thread. You will need to cut down the ball end threaded length to get it to fit in the cut off lever.
