Working on replacing my ignition switch with 900 series knob style switches ... Got everything figured out except can't figure out why I'm getting 24V from ignition switch starter output when cranking....

If you use a high grade marine sealant, the bond/'waterproofness' will last longer than the truck.... Don't be afraid to drill, just be aware that it's a double walled roof... long bolts are your friend..

Of the 3 belts I bought from Oreilly's... They managed to sell me ONE that was the right one...One was the wrong #, which I caught immediately....The other was incorrectly identified as a comparable belt, and it wasn't....Wasted 4 hours trying to get on a belt that was 1" too short to fit...

You probably need hydraulic cutters.... That steel is hardened and while being 30 years old doesn't show scratches.... It's TOUGH....
