I have always thought the sipeing (sp?) the NDTs would be a very good compromise. The thing that makes the older NDTs bad is that bar that runs down the center of the tire. Any snow, ice or water on the road and the only thing really touching the road is that bar. Wow that is scary! If the bar...
Wow! I had the same thing happened to me last weekend! First time ever. I was on my way to visit Magnus580 and it started in the neighborhood at home.
I started to panic and look around like "oh this is not good. I had just pulled up to my dad's house and thought I would give him a...
Sorry dma251 and I don't mean to pile on but that was no class. BFR was absolutely right. We don't need to give anyone more ammo to use against us. That kind of stunt can do nothing but hurt our hobby. I'm not picking on you. I'm sure you are a nice guy but from what I understand that car was...
Good question. I'll have to check that. I have to think they are not related because it is only the LOW beam that does not work. The HIGH seems to work fine. I'm guessing it must be just the bulb. Yes? No? Any thoughts?
The problem seems to be when I use the blower moter. I had a guy that has installed the heaters before do the instilation for me last month. He had parts I needed to have the heater complete and he seemed to know what he was doing. Last week was the first time I used it for more then 20 minutes...
Thanks guys. I thought it was really strange that a little blower motor would draw that much power. How would I check the ground??? I'm clueless on where and how. aua
Okay. Here is one for you. I just got my cab heater hooked up and took a couple hour drive today. I visited Mangus580 and had a nice time but to short. Anyway I decided to run my cab heater on hi to see how it worked. Seemed to work okay but I noticed that it seemed to draw a lot of electricity...
Me too. I'd be interested as long as it is not to much money. Remember, I'm not the Gub ment. I can't pay $600 for a toilet seat. Even if I deserve one.
ajg6989,
Please don't be a dummy! We don't need any bad press. Any time someone does something stupid everyone calls out for a ban on (insert here)! All we need is for someone to do something stupid and hurt or kill someone and then the whole world will demand to know how "regular people can buy...
I would like to get a set of new wiper blades for my Duce and I have seen where some guys will go to a 13" blade from the 11" stock blades. Can anyone tell me how I can do this without modifications. It's storming up here and I should have done this months ago! aua
Any help with part numbers...
Mike,
I have not forgotten that you have some stuff waiting for me. I have been real busy traveling all over the world this past month. I should be home and settled by mid December. When I catch my breath I'll visiting you in The General. Thanks!
Thanks guys. I did not say I needed the heater yet. What I meant was the cold weather was starting to get closer.
You have given me some work to do now. Now I just need to find all those things on the engine. I am litte new at this still. Thanks.
TXSG_19_commo,
Did you have any luck with your search for a new glow plug? I am just starting to get into fixing my heater because when I push the button to start the heater I hear nothing.
I do not know where to start to fix this. Any advice? Do these glow plugs burn out regularly? Any help...
Ken,
I did contact them as you recommended but they told me that the kits were long gone for 5 ton and he had never seen them for M35s. Strike one!
It looks like I'm back to square one again.
