Well, it looks like you're gonna need 2 of those flashers that are in my last picture. One for the hazards and one for the turn signals with reverse polarity. I grounded the hazard flasher in that 6 prong ground by the E- brake and the turn signal flasher in the firewall. There's a little hanger...
I'm gonna try out some led lights in the M1008. Brakes, marker, turn signals and reverse for now. I understand I'll need a new flasher. Does anyone know of the right one to buy? Thanks.
Will do. There's a shop a few miles away that is currently helping me look. They found one that will work but haven't sent me a picture or anything yet. I'll let you know when I know.
Hmmm... They never mentioned that. I understood this was a sure way to fix the issue. Looks like it creates another possibly. This is what they call a dog head mod right?
I bought this one at a shop close by. It works. Maybe too good. For some reason my back battery now shows 15.2v when running at start up. It was just showing 14.5 or so. The front battery is now showing in the 14s. So that's ok I'd say. But why does the rear battery charge in the 15s? And I...
Is this what you're talking about? And am I missing the "plate" that these mount on? I just kinda stuffed the other plugs and wires up out of the way for this picture otherwise they'd be hanging there too.
I have no intention of giving $350. I just said that's what I had found so far at the time. I will have 3 working alternators by the end of the week. A shop in this town close by already has one ready to go and I'm taking my old ones for them to either rebuild or give me the kit to do it myself...
I believe I'll just buy the one down the road and let them rebuild the 2 old ones I have. They do all that stuff there and it stands a greater chance of being right than if I do it. Thanks.
So far, I haven't found one that will work at an actual parts store. Amazon has one and a shop 30 miles away from me has a rebuilt one. Might take a drive to see them.
Don't know how. Forgive me. I'm new. Don't know what stickies are or how to find the manual you speak of. While waiting on a reply I've found one on Amazon and Napa but they want $350.
