As usual, had a great time. Weather was great Friday and Saturday. Taking a shower outside Saturday night turned out to be a horrible idea. Seems like nobody was having any fun Saturday night into Sunday morning. Eh, ya win some ya lose some. I spent my Sunday fixing my truck for the ride home...
Off topic but figure this might be a good audience for this request. Anyone have any used civilian backpacking packs they want to part with or sell? I might have some older kids that are coming and could make some use out of them.
Other than that, drive safe and pack warm if your camping out...
The NP205 pto driven generators work great for their intended purpose. Completely overkill if you're just using it to run a 120v power drill. Where it shines is when you need 3 phase power for running big things like a welder or the air compressor. Running small things is no problem as long as...
I'll most likely be camping out in the display field all weekend with my M1031. Not sure if I've got any hot ticket items to sell and don't really need anything atm. Think I'll just do the usual wandering about and impulse buy all the goodies.

Hey thanks. I appreciate the offer, but c'mon, I have a maintainance shop truck, I'm supposed to fix stuff, haha. I took it as a challenge and got to work. I thought about going to air up at the office, but there was a 2 hour line with that sea of Jeeps. It was quicker to just fire the welder up.
Here's some more photos. During lunch, I tried to run my generator and the belt keeper on the pto pulley shot off. Back at camp, I was able to weld it back on to get it running again to run the air compressor to air the tires back up and get back on the road.
Great weekend! Probably the smallest turnout ever, with that comes it's pros and cons. I think we ended up having the perfect unplanned group shot ever too.
I have a prior offroading event in southern NJ on that Sunday morning to attend. I'd say count me in with my M1031, I'm just gonna take it easy this time and try not to rip the cab off my chassis or blow up my engine. :-?
