    Is this even legal?!

Yes the last pic shows the truck with a ring mount while the close up pics do not. I wonder if they are the same truck? Was the ring mount pic "as driven" to the disposal site and then the Verboten stuff removed? Either way the buyer will get a pig in a poke.

    License Plate Bracket

I'm in the same boat with my Deuce, just got the collector plates in the mail. I have thought about magnetic mounts, bolt on brackets etc. As I plan on doing historical displays with it, I do not wat to spoil its looks with non military extras. I might do a flashlight powered night light on the...

    Hannibal at the House.

Now that is one cool looking truck! I love the way it turned out. Take as many kids for a ride as you can and one of them might get their own when they grow up. I have 5 girls looking for boyfriends with "boy" toys in the garage. LOL

    Bedford MJ

Hi M35A2. I grew up in Bedford QL's. Nice truck you have there. I made it to the Beltring in 2006 as a guest of the Essex armour (hell of a good bunch). Also had a cold one at the stalls with Marcus Glenn himself. I still drink tea from the mug he gave me at the show. I have enjoyed the many...

When I was in the service a rubber duckie was a rubber and steel training M16 rifle. I just bought one to arm the deuce with. Here is a pic. So............ Rubber ducky was not too far away from the MV hobby.

    REDNeck radiator test tank

Bill, nice to know that simple still works. Being without the aid of a full servce shop, I am always leaning from redkneck logic. I find things can always be done "another way" if you just think about it. I love it when others do the thinking for me! Here is a donkey engine inspection hoist.

Needle scalers to remove rust and paint

Just remember that a needle scaler is only one tool in the arsenel. Sometimes a sander is perfect, sometimes a wire brush. Don't try to do everything with one tool unless thats all you have. Experiment and find what works best for a given job/surface. Ear and eye protection are a mUst. I will...

Multifuel Engine life - the facts from Uncle Sam

Now all one has to do is read the thread and pick up the hints and tips based on the Army's combat experience. How many 30 odd year old civvy trucks are still as durable as the deuce? Bash anything and its not going to hold up as it would with due care and attention. I learned a lot reading...

    Items in the deuce...

Axe, shovel and pick axe fit right in their own rack out of the way. A generator would be nice (small portable and easy on gas being tops). A heater of some sort and a tent. Cooking items and stove. 2 cans of water, 2 or more of gasoline and a couple or more diesel. Food. A saw is a must even if...

Saw and touched my first deuce today!

I second that. I joined the British army at 15. Went to college on their penny and did my 6 years of Cold War service in Germany. Loved germany and the excitement of all the heavy metal EVERYWHERE. Got out. Got married to an American lady and moved over here. Joined the US army and flew Hueys...

    The Old Deuce in parade

Ridgerunner nice call on the parade. I bought my deuce this fall and have yet to do a parade. I am looking forward to next spring/summer. There are quite a few small town parades around where I live. There are also a couple of car shows that I will enter the M35 in. I look forwar to talking to...
