    WTB "Y" pipe & doughnuts for my '77 M886

Not MV specific. Any trans shop should have them for a 727 torqueflight trans.

    M1008 Gearing or Transmisson

I know a M1010 with a Gear Vendors overdrive unit. He's pretty happy with it.

Feh. Rockauto screwing up my order for an exhaust system.

Haven't had a problem with RA. No complaints, no problems. For exhaust parts, Seems too easy to take the truck to the exhaust shop for $200

Made the dive into a 10-09

Have wanted a M1028 for a long time... will be wanting one for a longer time still. Picked up an 84 M1009 from private seller ( flipper) who had picked it up from a recent widow. Shes rust free! Not an easy task up here in the rust belt. She won't see any winter use. Main goal here is to...

M882 stalls when put in gear

I still suspect accelerator pump, Pull the air filter housing, with the choke open look down in the carb and slightly/slowly moved the throttle, it should be squirting two streams, even under slight movement.

    M882 no parking lights

Would start with fuse, then the headlight switch, can't recall ever having that issue. Yet 99% of electrical issues on these are ground related.

Nice Truck Rescued From The Scrapper And Some Body IS IN Big Trouble !

Bed like a M888, but it isn't and there wasn't a 2wd version of it in the M890 series. GSA regularly messes up the years on these Dodges. The 6th digit in the vin is the year W24BE6Sxxxxxx would be a 76 pickup (W21BE6Sxxxxxx would be a cab & chassis) No DATA plate riveted to the dash?

    Fuel problem

Could be vapor lock. Radiator Hose? I eliminated the metal line that runs up to the carb, allowing me to run the rubber line away from heat sources. Yet perhaps there is a restriction between pump & tank which is limiting flow and when revved up on the road, she sucks the fuel right out of the...

    M880 lift

the add a leaf spring is about just as long as the main leaf. it is also arched, if you simply added a leaf of the same length as one of the shorter ones you would only gain the thickness of that leaf, basically just a spacer. refer to picture #1 above, before that "add a leaf" the rubber...
