Was able to barely read the tag on the Delco that was painted over. Has 24 V stamped on it along with some other stuff. It's at the alternator shop now.

Just checked. The field measures 2.3 ohms from F1 to F2. Thru the resistor, the Delco is seeing a little over 9 ohms.
