    Yes you can own one, good luck finding one. I believe most of these are getting rebuilt instead of surplussed.

    Check for an unseen flat. I had one, and if the truck went over about 45, it shook like crazy and made a **** of a noise because all of the flexing.

    The largest you can run on an unmodified deuce are 395s or 15-20s. Both are 46 inches tall. The stock tires on an A3 are smaller than 46", 44 sounds about right, but don't know the exact number.

    The original contract still says "at their sole discretion" GL can cancel after 60 days, not the buyer, according to contract. He will have to wait for a decision. Sucks, but that's the way they operate.

    'New' GL policy...

    Just a correction here. On a thousand dollar sale, GL gets 10% PLUS a good percentage of the auction price. They add the 10% just because they can and almost all auction places do ("Buyers Premium"). They make much more than 100 off a 1000 dollar sale.
