    m35a2 speedo and tach question

    How do the cables attach to the back of the speedometer and tachometer? Threaded collar or? I need to pull the gauge cluster and i dont want to screw up anything back there.

    Unknown bracket I was out looking over my kingdom and noticed a bracket on the passenger side door hinge area of my m35a2c. . Any idea what its for? Looks like a pipe or tube goes in it?

    Hey Bill, your truck looks good. Mine had the paint stripped with a high speed grinder. No way without a lot of bondo mines ever going to look like yours.

    My deuce came from Fort Riley Kansas and spent the rest of the time in Missouri till i got it. There is rust pinholes at the bottom front of the door opening.

    The gumballs are they original? I saw a pic with yellow lights that look kinda alike. I believe one of the sirens marked u.s. army.

    Uses a sprag clutch. When there is a difference in speeds between rear output and front the sprag engages locking the front axle output. If im missing something please jump in.

    No to locking diff, yes to the transfercase engagement of the front output.

    Yep no dropside. It had a tank in it, hard telling when they swapped the bed. Can anyone tell if its an airshift transfercase from the pictures?

    Rear main seal

    Well they are pretty tight, Ive done a herd of clutches and i just take the bolts out everyother one. when your down to 3 back them off a little at a time till they are out. reverse the procedure with a dummy shaft to line the disc up with the pilot bushing and torque to spec. Hope this helps.

    fuel line upgrade

    By double flaring your probably work hardening the tube at the end. If you want to double flare you can heat after the first flare till red and quench. The tube will be annealed.
