    Check valve for oil filters?

Just a thought but with the 15lb bypass valve in our motors I would be willing to bet that all of our motors are bypassing when the motor oil is cold. Want to help your motor? Plug in heater for the oil anytime you are going to use the beast. I still think some oil will find it's way back...

    Check valve for oil filters?

I told my son last week that I wanted to get a oil gage and check it with the one in the cab. What do you want me to do and where do you want it pluged in. No problem. 8)

    Check valve for oil filters?

All I can say is yes this thread is all over the place. Just when I think we are talking about bypass valves, smack me up side the head where on bypass filters. I get geared up on bypass filters and where back on bypass valves. OK I think where on check valves right. :D Think we need to...

    Check valve for oil filters?

M139 checked out wix 57012. Not a bad filter beta 2/75 23/45 nom 23 microns. Is full flow and has bypass valve. Did not say if there was a remote filter base that would work. Will call them. :D

    Check valve for oil filters?

Great pics. Looks like what I thought it might. The pic of the tractor motor is not as detailed. I have luber-finer sending me some info on filter setup that can be used a primary. It is big though, single canister. I just rather not go with bypass filter. I guess the thing is I will spend the...

    Check valve for oil filters?

Sorry Devilman never ment to be rude. Does anyone have a pic of the side of the block without the filter and cooler? I would still like to dump the whole system and not work around it. I guess I always liked the chrome luberfiner that was on the side of my GMC General dump truck. I could change...

    Check valve for oil filters?

I want the nappa oil filter # for the one micron full flow filter. In my boat the oil temps. reach 260* wot and after cooler back to bearings 190* Thats why when you guys do figer out the remote filter the lines can not be made up by the hyd.shop. You must use high temp oil line. If someone...

    Check valve for oil filters?

OPCOM in one of my past post I said that I felt the oil sender would be a good place. You got one put it there. What ever you think Devilman. But you need to study a little more on the bypass system. That is not how it works. Read my post on the matter and you will see nothing ever bypasses...

    Check valve for oil filters?

Recovry good thought . I am having trouble getting water temps. up. Put cardboard up and it helps. If that is the case my oil would come up faster without cooler.

    Check valve for oil filters?

Devilman I maybe wrong here but don't think you can just tap in anywhere and then tap back in . The pressure will be the same on both sides and the external filter system that was put on will just sit there and no oil will flow through. We need to just get rid of the whole stock oil filter and...

    Check valve for oil filters?

Oil accumulators just happen to have one on the boat. :D Mine is a three qt. and I started out with the electric valve. Was kinda cool hit the switch and oil pressure. The only problem I found was the electric valve will automatically fill the accumulator as soon as the motor starts. The...

    Check valve for oil filters?

This is going to be long so I will break it down in posts. Lets start off with the bypass system that is in most motors. In the event of filter failure the bypass valve that is in the motor of course by passes filter and no loss of pressure is noted. Problem! If you do not have a way of telling...
