Thanks for all the info guys.. I picked up a M135 last week and the front passenger hub was locked up. It sat down in the mud for who know how many years. I took it apart yesterday and all that was wrong was rusted brake pads to the drum. No water made it in the bearings so I was happy about...
Ok guys I am new to the GMC M211/135 trucks but learning fast..
Questions:
#1 Are they both the same axles just with the hub flipped or the same with differnent offset rims? Or does one have a longer axle tube?
#2 Anyone have a blow up of how the front hub comes apart?

RE: S.E. Michigan WWII & Veteran
Man that show looks juicy! I have just been on the road to much this month.. I would love to go!!!! What to do! What to do!
This is a Marine term meaning it dont have to make it back.. The were designed for front line opps and many time they fell victim to a phospherouse granade so the enemy could not use them.
They were ahead of there time if you look at the suspenion on one. Very strong independant and will go up...
This is Cheryl, Lane's wife.
Some of you wanted to see Lane's newest addition that he picked up after the Clare show.
But first, I just want to say thanks to Rod for going with him to pick this thing up 'cause without his help, who knows how long I would've waited in Gen. Jim's parking lot...
But both of course.. Sorry Zak.. I got you mixed up with the other guy.. Everytime I stopped at the dump there was only a lady sunning herself.. The grayling trailride would be fun in that dump.. I might make Silver Lake this year but time and fuel money are tight..
She might exstend it but I am all loaded to leave tonight. They only have a 3 day a week pick ups and its only 7:15 to 1:30.. This makes it tight for most people. Thanks HeadWizard but it looks like I am on my way..
I tried to get over and talk with you and everytime someone stopped me and told me there life story or I was stuck running the wrecker. That is a nice deuce dumper for sure.. Would love to see it at the trail ride in Sept... Hint, Hint..
Jeffs racks are in the truck ready to go.. :D Anyone have just the seat part of troop seats for a deuce in the fyberglass green? I found some uprights but no flip down seat part..
As yes keep posting any needs.. I have lots of deuce, M37 and some WC parts..
Oh and I have plenty of syrup so if...
I have never seen a A2 with the welded loops on the front. I have seen M105A2's that have that. The 116 is the chassis that they used for many configurations.. Pioneer trailers, gensets, box trailers and so on. The A2 was just a upgrade to serge brakes, 8 lug axle for the CUCV trucks HUMMV's and...
Here is my wish list..
800 series muffler
deuce cargo cover and bows
M135 rims
some more 15.5/20 R XL tires
deuce winch, PTO, shaft
M52 winch shaft
800 series air filter
flasher/strobe light kit
1100/20 NDT's
fyber glass troop seats for deuce
M37 winch shaft
ACME Canadian M37 trans PTO
display...
I have the inner fender... No on spare tire rack... Good luck might want to check ebay.. Pintle? I think I have a mount but no pintle.. Does your uncles truck have the big hole swivel old style or the single small hole non rotating pintle? There are two types on a M37 depending on year..
