I thought I did tonight. It actually sounded and felt just like it broke but it was the glow plug breaking loose. I have attached a pic below. I changed both of them while I was doing it. Both were swollen at the end and hard to pull out of the head, especially the one that is complete. I didn't...
At jimc. I thought the electrode was probably turning with the nut but from what you say it isn't? I was thinking the electrode would pull out leaving me the body with a hole in the middle of the body to maybe use an easy out in.

I decided to replace the bad glow plug this afternoon. When I got the cover off and looked the old plug appeared to be a lot smaller in diameter just behind the nut portion than the new plug. It is! The end the wire plugs onto is rusted completely off that is why I wanted to get it changed...
Just ordered 8 from Rock Auto. The site said only 8 left and I didn't know how hard they may become to get so I figured I'd get a couple extra just in case. Surprised it was only $5.33 Priority Shipping. Also ordered a 10 pack of the copper shims from McMaster. Thanks again!
Does anyone have a current/good source for glow plugs? I've tried the sources mentioned in the wiki but no results.
Edited to add: I should have mentioned that they are needed for an 002a.
