Thanks. Bad connection. Cleaned it up started and keep going. Got it wired for 120/240. Hooked it up and made sure switch are setup for this. But I am not getting power at the lugs. Getting 125 volts at the front.
Yes it will start and run. If I hold the injector pump arm up it will continue to run after I release starter. The solenoid is not pressing down on it. I have tried different locations for the throttle adjustment cable with no effect.
The arm on the pump drops as soon as the knob is released. But the solenoid is still up. Any idea what would cause if from staying connected with the solenoid.
Thanks guys. I'll try to do some trouble shooting. I've got time, when I am not working (po po never off). Looks like I'll be without power for a while.
If anyone has some spare time and will to talk me thru some trouble shooting. I have to go back to the pd tomorrow. And don't think I'll make drill this weekend.
Ran the 002 a couple of minutes. It sounds good. As soon as I release throttle it dies.
If I try to turn starter again/ flash it picks up speed. But still dies.
Not aware of an alarm on the mep002a. The lights come on the panel. The AC volts is around 180. Nothing on the rated current (don't have anything hooked up). Hertz showing 65+.
Would it shut down if all of the fuel pumps are not working?
OK guys looks like I am going to be out of power for a while. Would like to try and get the 002a running some. Mainly for well.
It will start and run with holding the starter. But as soon as I release it stops. I can hold the throttle up and it will continue to run, but still maxing out...
Thanks Jim. I will hold off on going any farther until the part comes in. Thanks. Ordered it through GMG via eBay. Tried contacting GMG directly first but could not find a POC #.
I try to never to use starter aid on any of our equipment. I don't think I've had to even on the cold days out. But we hay farm so not a lot of cold days for us.
