I have a friend that works @ a tool & die place, so I will most likely have him machine it off for me like you did. Be a lot better than I could do at home with a grinder that's for sure, lol
Nice! Sounds like a super great guy! I plan on using mine when I get one to tow my HMMWV with my 1967 Jeep Kaiser when I go off roading and its only a 20 mile or so round trip or tow the Kaiser with the HMMWV as it is mostly flat ground. Will see how it goes. And the $299 he sells them for...

by chance do you have a pic of what the bands look like? also are those cooling lines suppose to be solid steel or spliced with a rubber hose & hose clamps?

Which crossmember is it replaced with? And I didn't think it was as easy as 1 2 3, from everything I have been reading up on it. As for the driveshafts, are there some that work or do some need to be made? I am thinking this will be a conversion I want to do this winter, so any help is great
