Katrina Deuce Story - MUST READ

I'm flying into Alexandria Tuesday night. I verified my deuce is undamaged and operational. That's going to be a huge help for me to take care of Erika and the property.

Brake lights work but don’t work

That pressure switch should not be involved in the brake light circuit at all. Someone really botched the wiring on your truck.

Katrina Deuce Story - MUST READ

The eye went right through my town. Major destruction. They're saying it will take a month to get the grid back up. I'm flying home from Korea for a couple weeks to assess damage, do cleanup, and make sure Erika has a running generator and enough fuel to get her through until power is restored...

So I got my wrecker stuck again...

No. Still posting content I made before I left.

    Red River Parts a Equip.

Every time I've stopped by there ( during business hours), the gates have been closed and nobody around. A real pain to back out of there with an M105 behind a deuce too since there's no place to turn around with the gate closed.

So I got my wrecker stuck again...

Man... that is just terrible. Certainly heartbreaking for all involved.

    M88s get stuck too...

So I got my wrecker stuck again...

Yes I've done the same with my wrecker pulling out other people that have gotten several vehicles stuck. Leave the wrecker on the road and let them drag cable. For what it's worth, I've driven he wrecker right there for years without getting stuck. Just too much rain without time to dry out...

Haldex Purest Air Dryer install on M35A2 - questions about wiring, etc

I don't recall that. May have been a repair I was doing before the swap. All my lines are plastic now except the fuel supply line from the tank to the primary fuel filter.

Haldex Purest Air Dryer install on M35A2 - questions about wiring, etc

Use this discharge line from the compressor to the frame. You can use 1/2" plastic air line from there back to the dryer, and from the dryer to the tanks. Signal line only needs to be 1/4" from the governor to the compressor and from the governor to the unloader on the dryer. Use 3/8" everywhere...

    Jeepsinker's M35A2 6BT Cummins swap ( pics and videos)

It isn't super easy to meet the criteria for monetizing your videos. Took a long time for me.

Stalls, then won't crank - then does

Ok, it is the switch then.

Stalls, then won't crank - then does

Check the battery to frame ground to make sure it isn't breaking at the frame connection, and check the #10 wire connection at the magnetic relay above the starter. One of those could cause your intermittent loss of power, but neither should make the truck die. If it won't stay running without...

    Jeepsinker's M35A2 6BT Cummins swap ( pics and videos)

I didn't know ads like that were on there, but I also can't control what ads run. I got YouTube premium a long time ago so no ads.

    M35A3 dual fuel tank setup

If it was just a two tank system I'd suggest using the fuel tank selector valve from an M936 or M931 truck and just mounting the fuel pump on the upstream side of it so it can pull fuel. You could do the same for the other two tanks and simply plumb the output to fill the saddle tanks. Plumb the...

    M35a2 automatic transmission swap?

I was considering doing an automatic behind the 5.9 in mine, but it was cost prohibitive at the time. The Allison 1000/2000 series can be had with an SAE2 or SAE3 bellhousing, and parts are available to bolt them right up the the Cummins. In fact, my engine had one behind it when I bought it...

    Engine Swap

Maybe just because I have a lot of practice and the right equipment, but I can do it in about four hours by myself now.
