    K54 Signal Corp Stake Truck

I was afraid that was going to be how it would go heck I might keep it stock and still use it as a car hauler lol. Who needs to go more then 45? The price it very reasonable so either way I go it won't be a bad investment.

    K54 Signal Corp Stake Truck

OK I've been haggling with a guy on a Mutt for a while now and he's put me off for a couple months on selling so I started looking for a back up plan. I've been playing tag with a guy on some parts for my kaiser for almost a year and I finally got to talk to the friend that had the parts...

Did the military ever have fiberglass hard tops?

From what I understand the fiberglass tops or Arctic tops were used by the military on a few vehicles however many "hardtops" have been home made out of a few different materials.

Putting the Mutt on a leash.

Actually they did cut them up even the A2s I think got the same treatment. This however is an A1 and it has been cut and re-welded as a lot are. The uncut Mutts are a little more in cost and indeed better to deal with but I'm not discouraged in the least This thing will never see the kind of...

Knoxville TN, Broke down TN i-40 eastbound near Knoxville

I can see just from those pics that the tires are pancaked. If they were not low the load was to much, that puts pressure on the sidewalls of the tires being bowed out like that. The tire would have came apart much like it would if it had low pressure. Just my 2cents

    M151 tire size?

    225/75/16 = 29.3in x 8.9in /16 The 750R-16 size is equivalent to 235/85-16= 31.7"x 9.3" So yes they will fit.

    New to SS

Welcome from Weatherford OK. Not sure what I can add to the info your looking for. The biggest question you need to ask first is what you intend to do with the truck. Having a goal in mind will help us and you figure out what best applies. Just know that once your bitten by the OD bug there is...

    Found 1951 M37....

I'm on the band wagon with everyone else so far, it's a great find and the price Pb said is a good way to start out. It needs A LOT of love but it wouldn't take much to have it out on the road, these are great trucks I'd love to find a M43 (the ambulance variant) in that shape around me.

    M43 is home

I have a siren just like that that came with my M715 I'm not sure where Warthog got it from but you might ask him maybe he can give you a better idea of if it's suppose to be there or not. However I would think it would be correct for an on base medical vehicle. They are loud as heck too you...
