I had the timing advance unit fail in my injector pump. I had some particles of metal that looked like that in my drain plug. The difference was that i also had chewed up spring pieces too. After I replace the injector pump i noticed the front housing was swollen from the advance coming apart...
Received some goody's from Ebay. I bought a 120 watt solar panel for $115 with shipping and a charge controller for $20. I don't know how anyone could pay 150 or more for a 45 watt system from Harbor Freight. I mounted the solar panel and tested it with a light. I also painted and installed the...
Been driving my Deuce six day a week for 3 1/2 years on 100% used motor oil. Did have some issues with the injector pump but after replacing it it was apparent it was defective before I bought the truck. The problem was in the advance unit. I agree with your amazement but its how well the engine...
Fixed the A/C. The fan motor is old enough that it dose not have sealed bearings. Sprayed a little brake clean in the oil cups and the motor freed up. Put some oil in and gave it a good workout today.
Pulled the draws and doors off the cupboards around the refrigerator and refaced with temped...
Puttied and sanded counter top. Applied white wash and calked in sink and back splash. Then applied the first of many coats of polyurethane.

Worked on the counter top today. Trying to keep cost down I am using cheap pine furring strips. I am going to white wash the top and then apply several coats of polyurethane. I am planing the same for the floor but will probably use wider boards.
On a sad note the fan on my rooftop air seized...
Panted and installed A/C cover. Wired in rear light. Installed ground fault plugs in the kitchen. Also if you are looking for a power inverter I would recommend a Durolast 1000 watt from Auto Zone. It is rated a 2000 watt surge 1000 continuous and is around a 100 bucks. I have it wired in so I...
Next I built a support under the grey water tank. It is designed to hang as installed. But I had to repair a small crack in the corner when I got it so I thought I would support most of the weight from the bottom. I used a couple pieces of 2 x 12 with some 1/2 foam to support the bottom. I them...
I worked this weekend on building what they call a basement in the RV industry. That's a fancy term for putting a box around the holding tanks and maybe some extra storage. I just put a insulated box around the tanks. The black water tank is inside the bed so it was the easiest. I just had to...
