Ok known facts. Air in fuel between fuel pump and filter. Check supply between tank and pump. If no air: suspect fuel pump. If air present check hoses for leak. There is a short section of rubber line between tank and hard fuel line. Chances are if it's letting air in it probably letting fuel...

if you check for flow as mentioned also check to see if it spits any air with fuel.

Temps hi80,s late afternoon. Didn't glow. Temp mid 60's early morning. Seems like it flashed once very fast and then wouldn't do anything when turn off and back on when hot. Worked fine on cold.

Well actually I coasted in and couldn't get to the diesel pump. Station only had a 1 gal tank for sale. Soooo 10 trips from pump to 998 (that is blocking half the gas pumps) diesel all over my hands, no soap or paper towels in bathroom. Then had to prime. This was the beginning of a 2 1/2 hour...

Managed to run out of fuel today! Got it running with a littpatience.

After driving with shield installed it seems like the fan does run less. It still runs but less when at speed. The rig is also quieter, at least from drivers perspective.
