Hay that sounds good. One genset and a few light towers for all to use. Ive brought my gen the last 2 years and never even unpacked it. I only need power for charging cell and a few lights but I use an inverter for that. Also works like a fence charger. Ask gimp.

Bad news. I was making a new valve cover gasket and was ready to but it on when I found that their is a push rod missing. Why was it removed? broke ring bad piston I dont know I think a compression check is in order. If it checks good Ill make a new push rod.

Finished the rebuild on the carb and added 4 gallons of oill. Now Im down to fixing a broken wire and checking out the gen head.

Got engine sludge? I got 20 pounds of the stuff. OilCan you told me so. The carb was a mess. Its seen some weather and was full of rust. I thank the last time it was run must of been in late 1984. At lest that was the date on the battery.

Don't know just yet. It has outputs for 110 220 440 and 440 3 phase along with 28 volt dc AC cycles range from 40 to 450 cycles.

No I got it on a trailer but still had to drag it a ways only a mile or so. Used the deuce to pull it. The skids did not wear that bad. The poor trailer was was riding low. I thank it was over weighted.

Just got my genset home. It took all day to move it just 30 miles. It came from an old air port and was used as backup power for the runway lights. Its hasent run in years. It still turns over with the hand crank. Oil looks good and has 10 gallons of fuel AVgas in the tank. I hope by having fuel...

If its a mechanical injection you have to close off the fuel. Most all mechanical injection systems have a cable to shut it down. Is your deuce a gaser?

Made it home Ok well sort of. Lost the hood and drivers side winshild. Some one forgot to latch the hood down.:cry: Dang it Bobby! Thanks for everyone's help It was a blast. Ill post pic's as soon as I can.
