    Look at the pto and winch to see how much oil residue is on them, also look for cracks in the winch body.

    you could always throw a little bit of heat at it to, i soaked mine with free then heated it right before i took it off. I think at some point mine was way overtourqed on there

    i just removed one the other day. i had my brother hold the flange with a 18 inch pipe wrench with a cheater and i used a 3/4 inch breaker bar with a cheater and still just got it.

    Alternator rebuild parts

    I have never had luck finding rebuild kits for them. If you go to a local starter and alternator rebuild shop they will usually sell you the parts they can get for it if you want to do it yourself. And from what i have seen they parts to rebuild them come to about half the price for a new one...

    When you tore the carb apart did you blow all the channels out with compressed air and clean everything real well. The first couple i rebuilt acted funny because i was cleaning them with a rag and it would leave little fibers in the wrong places

    make sure the line is all the way seated before you start tightening, dont use the nut to "pull" it into place

    Are the rear tires slipping? If you have the sprag transfer case it only engages with wheel slip from the rear

    Built a simple WMO filtering setup

    I have some on the top of my main holding barrel and all the oil is poured over them before it goes in. You will be surprised what they catch. I have never thought to put them on the filter, great idea
