I was at camp johnson in colchester VT from '78-'84 & very winter the same thing happend...... Without tire chains, Your right they suck in snow Deuce or 5 Ton same thing..... But once you get one going at a good clip & blow some dounuts or side ways with a 5 Ton with a shop van trailer...

I guess I lucked out Its a heavy 1/2 with 9 leafs.....

I bought it done. It has no brakes I never carry anything to heavy. All I did was paint it with CARC & Krylon. And I welded the receiver on & added a receiver tow eye that I can remove so it can not be stolen.........

So what do ya think ? M1009 & almost 1/2 of a M1008 Ya I know its a 2wd trailer.........:oops:

My M1009 was from Fort Bliss, Texas. It was a personal, daily driver of a CSM. After that, it went to the Border Patrol in Marfa, TX. It sat on the border at night with a "Flir Unit" sticking out of the roof. I lucked out, Texas from day one and has no rust!:-P

I have & love my M1009. As said before with a man trans I beleve it would be unstopable...... I will be putting spare alt & starter in an ammo can.. If you have a gas chevy or gmc 4x4 with a v8 or inline 6cyl from 1955 to 1991 along with spare alt & starter get a point type dist w/plug...

Ok, check ball not stuck.....stumbles at idle, when you give it a little fuel it acts like turbo lag & then takes off?????????? (sitting in park in garage):?::?::?:

I Looked at check ball it's clean.............I jumped on I-20 drove about 10 miles 55 top speed.............. got home it shut down at idle...........:cry: Anyone have any ideas?????
