    10 Ton M125 Repaint

I found this thread about an hour ago, and read every bit of it! If I ever tried something like this, I would forget where parts went just a few days into it, yet you sir have been at this for a couple years and seam to remember every little detail. This is the most awesome restoration project...

    5ton vs deuce

If you can get either for similar money, it is a no brainier! The 5 ton would me my choice without any hesitation whatsoever! But with a 5 ton, I would never bob it!

    The Epic Recovery

Ain't that the truth! Buy a Deuce, Bob it, buy a trailer, still not satisfied, now looking for a good deal on a second deuce! Where will the madness end? I'm for finding a group of new friends! Glad things went safely in the recovery!

    The Mule & the Meuce

I thought it was fitting seeing how the Deuce seams like an over sized Mule, to call it a Moose with a twist, IE; "The Meuce"

Possible to use 9.00-20 tubes for 11.00-20 tires?

Yes, that is correct. Those are to reduce friction, and heat build up from wheel to tube.

    Deuce Owners in Northern Ohio?

I am about a 4 hour drive south, so not really in your neck of the woods. However, I am in Ohio. Although I have had my deuce for some time, I just recently got it road worthy. Getting it licensed was very easy, but getting it insured through State Farm is a real pain. I guess these are so...

Gotta paint that stop handle red!

I went out and looked at relocation possibilities, and this would be very easy as well as fat enough apart to stop the possibility of pulling the wrong one ever again.

Gotta paint that stop handle red!

You could always relocate the throttle control to a better (Read: away from the kill handle!) location. It wouldn't be that difficult.

    20 ton bottle jack air/hydraulic

thanks for your feedback Gimpy! Did you invest in an $80-$100 one, or go all out and spend hundreds? I am guessing a low priced one. That is what I am looking at doing. Spend maybe $110 including shipping.

    20 ton bottle jack air/hydraulic

5 year old post, but instead of starting a new one I thought I'd breath some life back into this one. I am getting an 20 ton Pneumatic/Hydraulic Bottle Jack for the deuce and was wondering if any of you that hang out here use one, and if so, what is your thoughts? Thanks, I'll hang up and...

    Old Faithful never fails (Yet!)

I want to run 46" Michelin tires, and still be able to run chains in the winter.

    Old Faithful never fails (Yet!)

Yes, that is him! I don't know him other than meeting him a few times at truck pulls and such!

    Old Faithful never fails (Yet!)

Paul; Do you a guy from Holland, Mi. named Eric Merchant? He used to work at the Chevy dealer ship as a Duramax Diesel mechanic. I went up there to a Diesel get together back in maybe 2004

    Old Faithful never fails (Yet!)

Thanks! I am an ok welder, but I don't think I am good enough for welding spring drop shackles. I now want to put a 4-5 inch lift and 46" Michelin tires. I hope to paint it this spring so it would be nice if the lift were on before that. Thanks for all the compliments and advice fellow MV...

    Jumping a 24 volt with a 12 volt

Not only that, but have you ever seen burns from a battery that exploded? That is not pretty, so don't try two vehicles to jump start a 24 volt powered vehicle unless you know exactly what you are doing. Someone will most likely get hurt, not to mention what can happen to one or more of the...

    Jumping a 24 volt with a 12 volt

As stated here, one vehicle! There is a remote chance maybe one in a thousand that one 12 volt powered vehicle will not start a 24 volt powered vehicle. Back in my military days we jump started M60A3 tanks with a M151 jeep. (Those are a 6 battery setup being jumped by one.)

    Deuce Driving lights

Were the air compressor and stock tanks enough for the train horns? Nice truck!

    Installed my Aurora lights today.

Use a toggle switch like the one for the heater, down for low beam, middle for off, and up for high beams. That is what I plan to do. As I will not be using those light for highway use until someone feels their brights are preferred, than I can show them what brights really are. HAHA!

    Old Faithful never fails (Yet!)

I installed a dome light and put the toggle switch in for that. Yes the key sends power to the started button. Without in in the on position the start button does nothing. (It is to deter would be thieves from driving off with the deuce, not that many thieves know how to start or drive a deuce...

    Installed my Aurora lights today.

Posting is already gone! I was going to look into a set or two, but was too slow at the draw. (I was wrong, if you go to classifieds they are there, it is the link that is not working!) They look very cool on your truck.
