    m818 straight pipe exhaust

The stock one was a pain to pull off. It was ear piercing loud!! I liked it though. I wanted just a bit of constant back pressure so I put a small one on the stack and flex in place of the old muffler. Sounds great, still LOUD ad **** too, but not ear piercing. Nothing wrong with my muffler...

Took the HEMTT out for a good run.

Glad that you like the Hemtt! You paid enough for it (still a steal though) that you should have a huge smile on your face every time you drive it! Gotta bring that baby to the PNW Convoy this next year!!

    NHC 250 5 Ton performance

I would say if you had the 1100s on it you might rarely shift into fourth. Around here I can pull every gear in fifth except one in my 5 ton.

    nhc 250 starter trouble

The wire (#74) I think comes from the switch and goes on the terminal closest to the frame. I could try to reverse it, but like I said I never took the ground wire...

    nhc 250 starter trouble

poppop I did check like you said to make sure the starter motor spun, and it did. My only thought is that the disk is not touching the two contacts that it should. It does have a heavy duty click like you said. I think that I will find new contacts for it and try that. I noticed on the cone...

    nhc 250 starter trouble

Ok guys I am stumped. It is probably some thing small I am missing but I need your help. About a month ago my M818's starter stuck in the crank position. Luckily I did not have a total melt down by the time I got the + battery cable off. Today I pulled the starter and then took apart the...

    WA / OR non-CDL guys

I have a 5 ton registered as a heavy truck. As long as you do not register it for over 26,000 pounds and never haul a combined weight (or vehicle weighs) over 26,000 you do not need a cdl. You will still have to stop at scales, but I have never been asked inside.
