Thanks, got it. Looks like I need one. All my inners turn when trying to get the nut loose and I had so far no idea what to do about this. Maybe on my next trip over the pond...

    lug wrench ?

Sorry folks. Can somebody explain how the pork chop thing works. In my case when trying to loosen the nut for the outer wheel the thimble of the inner one turns loose instead. I don't understand how this tool will help. Turning both loose at bit, install this tool and then tighten the inner to...

    Need part for HH

The dealer who sold my that piece of junk deuce let's me now fully down in not even sending parts he has promised to do. So since weeks I am stuck as I need that ring holding the button to the fuel plunger. Anybody has one in a drawer and is willing to sell and send? Problem is that I am in...

    correct installation of HH

I am starting a new thread, it was leaking IP, but leakage is no longer my problem, it is getting a little more difficult. The previous owner must have messed with the IP pretty bad. Obviously when he tried to remove the hydraulic head, he did not know the correct procedure and forced it out...

    leaking IP

gimpyrobb, Thanks for the reply. Yes, most of it I can understand. I am travelling now on the west coast and will only be back in 2 weeks to look at the truck. I found somebody today which will most likely send me that clamp holding the plunger button. I believe I will need a little more help...

    leaking IP

all right, it is no longer leaking, but it is also no longer running. I wasted hours today on this as a combination of not knowing anything about deuces and obviously previously substandard work on this truck. Anyway, here is my status and problems. After installing the new o-rings, the truck...

    leaking IP

I don't have too much time to spend, but today I worked on the truck again and this is what I found. Pretty surprising that it did not leak in the first place. Somebody did not pay too much attention when installing those O-rings. New question comes up, do I need to do any bleeding when...

    leaking IP

ok, I have halfway recovered from getting fixed and am able to work on the truck again. It sure seems like fuel is coming out between the hydraulic head and the pump body so I understand the O-rings are the problem. Anybody has a good source for these rings? I will be in the States next week...

    leaking IP

Thanks folks for the replies so far. Appreciate it, Kenny, yes, please copy me. I am myself now going thru some repair (surgery next week), so I won't be able to try, but gathering info is still very welcome.

    leaking IP

here the pic as requested. I wiped the cover dry and you might be able to see that it is starting to get wet from fuel again. Fuel seems to come from the area around the stud/nut in the center of the picture

    leaking IP

update: before starting the engine, I let the fuel pump run. Started almost immediately seeping fuel out. I could not exactly tell where it was coming, did run on top of the shut of cover. So I removed the cover with the shut off mechanism. Was a little oil in it (as I guess it should) but no...

    leaking IP

ok, will try to take some. Deuce is 40 miles from home. Will take a few days. Drove it the first time yesterday for an hour. Then after the second drive today it started this leak. Reply from doghead however makes me think I am wrong or have a bigger problem. The fluid dripping was clear and...

    leaking IP

Dear all, This is post number 1 so I am obviously an absolute newcomer to the deuce. I have only a few miles experience. I have looked into the TM and also used the search. Since yesterday the injector pump is dripping fuel to the floor. My first guess from looking at it that it drips at the...
