Deuce Crash - Subway drive thru.

My wife just called. The local news reported that he had just purchased the truck 3 hours prior to this accident... Something for those making a recovery to keep in mind, let alone a truck that "looked" as nice as this one.....

Deuce Crash - Subway drive thru.

Speed limit there is a transition from 55 to 45mph. Most are still going around 50-55mph if the light is green, faster if yellow, and front ends diving if those in front didn't run the light... It is an uncomfortable light for me as a driver in any vehicle as I do not run it. There are always...

Deuce Crash - Subway drive thru.

I work just a few miles from the scene, but I'm out of town on business. I had multiple calls and emails asking if my truck was still parked in its spot at home or if someone stole it... After looking at the pic's, it was too nice to be mine... Someday mine will look as good as this one did...

    Wheel chocks?

Start truck, turn on lights and right hand turn signal, walk to front then to back on passenger side to check lighting, thump tires, look for leaks, and pull chock from passenger side. Proceed back to cab, flip signal stalk, walk front to back on drivers side checking lighting, thump tires, look...

    New from scranton pa

Thanks John, When I looked into it, I determined that it was not worth the hassle for me as I don't make a living out of it... I just have to make more trips in the old Chevy. The Deuce still earns her keep hauling my firewood and doing the other things the OP mentioned. Besides, the smiles...

    New from scranton pa

Welcome from your south... I have mine registered as a regular truck... Keep in mind that at the weight class, registration in PA will be $438.00 a year. I will also caution you that with a class 8 registration in PA (can't answer for other states), you can no longer drop trash off at the...

LDT Engine Temp In 30F Weather

Mine even in summer is in the 160-165 range... With a heavy load, pulling hills, and EGT's around 1K it might hit 180 on a 90 degree day as I crest a hill with the go pedal on the floor in third gear and starting to lug. As soon as the go pedal is off the floor and a higher gear has been...

    stuck deuce reverse winch video

Tell your Buddy that anything can be done even if there are no pictures to prove it.... I've used my duals and a rope to get me moving again... It is about common sense verses stupidity and more commonly just plain dire need at the time weighing risk vs reward. ..... Here is a Bush "wheel"...

    gun truck 100mph

They and I know it existed, but it has been a quest of Mike and his brother Sean to locate all of the parts, pieces, cars, and prints associated with their great grandfather. It's not about possessing these amazing dreams and creations, it's about knowing where they are or in some cases what...

    gun truck 100mph

Well if anyone knows where this piece of history is or what "truly" happened to it. On occasion, I have worked with one of his great grandsons and have discussed this incredible vehicle in the past and the fact that it has been the ever elusive "unicorn" of his grandfathers creations...

Clunk when shifting between reverse and drive

To add to others, the 14 bolt rears do have a lot of play. If the U-Joints and Yokes check out, another thing to check are your rear brakes. If they aren't bled properly, have weeping wheel cylinders/lines, or a weak circuit in the master cylinder the "normal" play can result in a louder clunk...

Would you toss these 395 ' s and get new ones?

Since the past history of them is unknown (general airing habits or did they spend a lot of time flat with weight on them). They are getting to the point of too much cracking for my personal taste.... I've replaced better looking tires on my Civvy vehicles. Remember, you are potentially...

    Appels 6x6 Oshkosh plow truck

I love it!!! Are you going to use that to do the states job in the southern end of the county? I remember an old farmer back in the blizzard of 94/95 that opened up drifts on roads down 74 with an old converted combine "snowblower" that had twin Cadillac 500's powering the "stages".

    generator is hunting violently

I'd start there... Disconnect the line at the shut off and drain some into an old mason jar or clear drinking glass (not to be reused)... I bet what is on the bottom of your tank looks like water and barely smells like gas anymore. If so, the ethanol separated... It may take a little while...

    Steering wheel space: poll

Plenty of room, 42 and still a 30" waist. I don't care about the color of my hair, or even if I have any... My number one goal as I grow old is that my waist doesn't exceed my inseam... Of course I'm feeling that this goal is fleeting as there is only two of the six pack I sported 10 years ago...
