88FLU, did you notice the difference primarily on road or off? My big complaint is the bobbing and weaving it does when I'm just driving across the hill where there are some bumps and uneven ground. I'm not even going fast AT ALL. Also, do the 365/80R20s fit onto the stock rims and do they fit...

Racing FLU? Yeah, I'd love to see Jeremy Clarkson take this thing around the track...no, sorry, strike that, I really want it to stay in one piece. Gadget, it sounds like you had a blast! Probably a lot more fun than me just digging holes all afternoon! Peakbagger, it appears that if you have...

Euro-Truck in GA shows the muffler on their website. I talked to Shaun down there today about something else but he seems very informed about the SEE tractor. I bet that Scott @ EI has them or can get them too. Then again, as long as you know the relative performance necessary out of the muffler...

Peakbagger, thanks for the good information, I was worried that it popping out of gear was some kind of 'oh $**t!' moment and that I was about to have catastrophic tranny failure or something. The good news is that the cooling fans worked great throughout the afternoon. In regards to keeping...

Peakbagger, it ought to be easy to find it from that diagram. Now the question is about this 'inlet piping' and flushing it. Also, was the recommendation for the normal marvel mystery oil or the air tool version since this is for air lines? FLU Farm, the lack of noticeable dampening on this...

Peakbagger, that's good intel right there, thanks! Mine seem to be working now but I really want to keep it that way. I'm not near my machine right now so I haven't looked but if you have a chance could you snap a picture of the drain plugs you mentioned? Likewise (and I am sorry for my noobie...

Not any cheaper really, just sized to be able to use the stock battery holder. I found a place that had them delivered for $490 for the two. If 2 guys get together and buy 4 batteries, the cost drops to $237 each. The next break isn't until 12 batteries and that's at $203 ea. So, maybe not...

Peakbagger, this is so informative easy to understand. I really appreciate it. I think that these large mil batteries are probably FLA. However, the good news is that they fit exactly and I can use the clamp down plate as-is. Update will follow after a few months of use. I actually just...

Peakbagger, I ran across that post on the other forum too and have most of them collected as well. I wonder if there would be a way to make a TOC for the whole PDF so it could take you immediately to the page for the issue? If you want any help with this helpful little project (and the moderator...

FLU farm, I think that I must have been using that tape for a long time because, well, you know, exaggerated lengths and all... Seriously, I'm thinking you're onto the welding it at the corners. My only problem is that the way I have my brackets designed I'll definitely need a few more inches to...

M813, where did you manage to pick up a copy of the TM?

M1082 trailer manual, anyone got it in PDF?

Dave, where the deuce may be somewhat under-powered, I'm guessing the MK48 doesn't have a problem with much of anything, right? I never operated one of those because grunts have no business behind something that big, but they look intimidating!

M1082 trailer manual, anyone got it in PDF?

Guys, I can't thank you enough for the very wise advice. I've already abandoned the idea of the daily driver pulling this thing. I know that my SEE can pull it since it weighs 8 tons and is rated to pull 17K. However, it's not road registered yet so that's not a current option. I'm a little...

M1082 trailer manual, anyone got it in PDF?

toaster, thanks for that. I actually found the specific procedure from the TM. Apparently the procedure only needs the one bolt that is supposed to be stored somewhere at one of the wheel locations...now comes the praying part... M1082 trailer manual, anyone got it in PDF?

pmramsey, I just got an M1082A off of GP. It's only about 40 miles from here @ Ft. Campbell. Is there any feasible way to temporarily disengage the brakes (you mentioned manually backing them off)? I have an FLU419 that will easily pull it but I'm not sure about transiting between here and there...

FLU Farm, I'm interested to hear about your design for this. The weldable area on the back of the adapter looks like 49.5" and the width from outside to outside of my loader attachment points is 50.25"... Missed it by that much! So, My thought is to weld on a piece of plate to extend the...

Gadget, peakbagger, thanks for the insight guys! I thought that it was definitely a leak. The rust was a dead giveaway... So, now I guess I get to learn what I've always managed to avoid, pipe flaring & bending! Gadget, in regards to the auger, I am attaching the TM to this post. I'll also go...
