    New M105A2

if you are looking for a way to convert it to electric brakes it will be difficult. but there was another member here that talked about a electric over hydraulic system but it was a little pricey. i looked up the parts for it and you are looking at about a grand after all said and done. you...

    M105 Axles......Value?

Sorry to hearabout the break in and stolen goods. I would think they would just be scrap value. As for the ubolts the rockwells would have square bottoms as opposed to the round bottoms. I haven't looked at a 105 in a while so I can't say if it fast square or round ubolts.

    New M105A2

there are ways to modify the trailer to your liking but you have to take into considerations about the pros and cons of all the fab work vs getting a smaller trailer. as to what drgreg said all the answers are most likely here on the trailer forum already.

    surge brake assembly for m105a2

Pmramsey, good work on the swap, I may take some ideas from you for when I do mine this week. Sweet trav ther are many options out there for the surge brake actuator like bolt on or weld on, with or without reverse lockout, and of course the max weight of the trailer. I would suggest to get one...

    need to lighten my m105a2

That is nice but pricey as well. You also meed to have a brake controlmler in your landcruiser to control it looks like parts price for everything needed is going to be close to a grand. Doesn't seem worth it to me.

    need to lighten my m105a2

I agree with 3dangus on the utility trailer. Not only is it civilian wired and brakes on it so you can hook up and go withouttinkering with it to make itwork. Also it is Moe versatile with the ramps on it. It isalso lowerto theground to make loading and unloading g easier.but we areall grown...

    need to lighten my m105a2

flipping the drawbar will help out to level it not sure if it will make it completely level. but hopefully it will work out for you and have a safe trip to colorado.

    need to lighten my m105a2

also one thing to think about is if the tongue is going to be level or not while hooked up to your tow vehicle. even with my lifted f-150 and a pintle hook that has multiple mounting positions my m536 is still nose down with the tongue. not sure if the 105 is roughly the same height or not.

    need to lighten my m105a2

i would say to just look around it and under it to see if there are any unused brackets that you dont need to have or use for. any bit of weight would be helpful. Do you need to lighten it because of the tow vehicle you are using?

    rotating drawbar ring on m105a2

if it is like the one that i helped change on a 105 it may be easier to keep the nut on the threads on it hook it up to either a tractor or a tow vehicle and shake the lunette ring loose. it all depends on how tight the lunette ring is or how long it has been since the last time it was turned.

    rotating drawbar ring on m105a2

are you referring to flipping the lunette ring on the tongue of the trailer?

i havent thought of that but that is a good idea. it is just i have already bought the surge brake actuator. plus this trailer will be towed by multiple vehicles includeing a future duece. doesnt that actuator need a relay type system on the tow vehicle?
