I have registered an M1078 and a M 923 in ohio both without any question. Both were registered as commercial. I sold the M923 last month and the new owner registered near Cincinnati soon after without issue. Try another BMV office.

Sound like a nice setup, any idea on the HP you are achieving? I would expect with the fuel turned up that much a significant increase. Did you need to also make any changes on the governor?

Did some more digging, the valve is made by bendix and its called an inversion valve and as you mentioned it is part of the parking brake system. Here is some more info.

Here is a screenshot of the parts TM, looks like a check valve as well as whats being called a plug valve. I have replaced check valves and they are commonly available, never checked into a plug valve but i suspect it is available. Usually can be found at NAPA, truck parts stores and online.

I have tried unsuccessfully to repair the kneeling valve by disassembling and replacing the o ring. I will dig one out tomorrow and post some pictures. I replaced mine with the standard 90deg elbow used on the rear. I was able to have the local truck parts store order them.

Yes you should be able to run the 2 lines behind the heater box and out above the accel pedal then run to the manual valve and regulator. You could also run the lines out through the left side front panel of the heater box similar to how the air lines run to the parking brake valve. I have the...

Regarding the marker lights, I purchased the bottom pictured option from Vehicle Safety Supply for arond $15 each. I believe these are the correct lights used on the later trucks that had LED. They come in either tan or green with red or amber lens and have the correct military wiring connectors.

Aernan thanks for the info, 3 of the 4 batteries check out ok, the forth is bad not sure why only this one failed, the CCA is very low, not sure there is any way to recover. I know it is recommended to replace the batteries together so I will probably just run 2 for now and potentially switch...

Looks like one of my 4 6TL batteries is bad. They are the lead acid type and all four have 2009 date codes so I should be happy they lasted this long. I am in the process of checking the other 3, so far the second one I checked is still good I have reviewed a bunch of old battery threads...

The o ring seals on the smooth part of the stem, hand tight is fine.
